It is soon to be a while ago that I decided to take a little culinary journey to the American kitchen, specifically Philadelphia where this sandwich is a very popular street food. Ladle I have never set my foot on American soil, but it must be determined alonti not keep me from eating my way through "The Land of the Free". It is by no means an easy matter, there's really nothing amerikanskt food which is it? but most street food is easy to assemble, consists of very simple ingredients and tastes the course well, meaning three reasons for this Hungry Students love this sandwich. Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich - 2 persons: 2 warm baguettes 2 steaks (I used a remnant I had in the freezer) 1 bell pepper 1 onion salt and pepper a little oil Cheese sauce: 2 tablespoons. butter 2 tbsp. flour 3 cups milk 200 g cheddar 2 tsp. paprika salt and pepper, a little grated nutmeg enjoyed Start by cutting bell peppers and onions into slices and fry until tender in a little oil in a frying pan. Season with salt and pepper and set them aside. Now to make the sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan and stir the flour into the melted butter, behind it for approx. 1 min. Then pour the milk slowly into the pan while whisking. When you have a thick white sauce seasoned it with a little salt, pepper, nutmeg and paprika enjoyed. Eventually melted cheese into the sauce and then put it otherwise also it aside while the rest of the sandwich to be prepared. To make your sandwich lunes steaks or frying some if you do not have a residual lying so flæker you some warm baguettes and butter them with a little of the sauce. Now cut the steaks into slices and stuffing them into baguettes, top with the fried onion / pepper mixture, pour a little more sauce on top of sandwichesne and enjoy a little taste of the U.S. East Coast
