Price: 25kr .- / 250g. Purchased in: At Frellsen Chocolate at Ro's Torv. Prayer & Country: 100% Arabica coffee varieties. Columbia, Brazil, Central America, East Africa and Indonesia (Java coffee) Made by: Filter coffee. Made of Melitta kaffemasikne. Rating: 6.5 / 10 Review: It's actually an excellent coffee, BUT I miss good enough any body. This coffee is 100% Arabica, which in fact is well known for its mild flavor instead of robusta, which is the more bitter and tasty flavor of the coffee bean. Thumps up for java coffee is actually quite rare, but I do not think there is much java coffee in this one. Java coffee is coffee beans that have grown in Indonesia for at least 1,400 meters altitude, and java coffee has a very high sweetness degree. I will, however, no idea of the sweetness, so I have to say there is very little java herein. Or maybe it's just java coffee, which removes the bitterness of this coffee. I have also experienced this brew coffee at all possible strengths: 2 jug to 1 mug of coffee, 2 jug to 4.5 cups of coffee, jug 3 to 6 cups of coffee. I thought I was an idiot - I got all the time a brew that seems to be extremely mild of coffee to be - so thin. No bitterness at all, and quite tame in flavor. But I must therefore conclude that this is how it is. Extremely good as morning bartending coffee when you do not even feel like a black bitterness bomb when you already now are bitter of being stood solemnly up .... I think, however, it lives up to its name: "Gourmet" . Countries are many, arabica bean's the expensive bean and so even java too. But the flavor lives just not up to it. The price is on the other hand does not particularly high, so what the heck. Taste Shades: I get a long aftertaste of very dark chocolate ancestry, bartending we're talking 99% chocolate because significantly dryness, like after eating bitter chocolate, arises on the tongue. As French Coffee (Coffee Press): The coffee lends itself very well as French Coffee. But again, even as french coffee, missing the coffee simply body. Does not live up to the name "gourmet".
